We are looking for a talented Employee Relations & Compliance Specialist Manager - Pune & Field Sites to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Sites supported by this leader are all Pune locations (IOC, KEP & Pirangut, ITO) and all field locations (non-plant sites). The work arrangement for this position is onsite.

The People Support Specialist Manager Leads a team of People Specialists within a large geographic region who deliver specialized support across multiple HR disciplines such as Labor/Employee Relations, Compensation, and Talent Development. The role will be responsible for the development and consistent execution of HR programs and solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business, delivering an enhanced employee experience, driving efficiency, and creating seamless HR solutions for the end user. The role will leverage the full HR function to meet business needs and deliver as One HR team.

This position will lead the team responsible for Employee Relations, Labor Law compliance, and lifecycle management of non-exempt and Student category employees (Flexi hiring, performance management, learning & development, growth opportunities, and separation).

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Lead the Specialist team to address escalated inquiries promptly and effectively, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing local nuances.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Specialist team to enhance their ability to offer high-quality and responsive support to complex issues.
• Ensure the delivery of seamless end-to-end solutions for escalated and complex issues raised by the People Advisor team, utilizing functional expertise and understanding of the local context.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and internal HR teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Execute processes efficiently and proactively, making sure delivery is in line with established standards and monitoring legislative compliance.
• Consistently apply HR knowledge to resolve employee and manager queries effectively.
• Ensure the voice of employees and managers is heard and shared with the right stakeholders.
• Leverage insights and predictive analytics to improve employee engagement and experience.
• Champion excellence in customer support and drive continuous improvement, setting high standards for the team in delivering HR solutions and services across the geography.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Employee Relations : Build constructive relationships with employees and other stakeholders. Reinforce consistent application of company standards, apply knowledge of employment and labor law, manage conflict effectively, and maintain a collaborative, productive work environment through information sharing and consultation.
• Compensation and Benefits Administration : Administer policies following the company's plan design to ensure accurate and consistent application. Comply with local legislative and tax requirements to meet governance and legislative standards.
• Data Analytics : Discover, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative data. Use business or functional frameworks to draw conclusions, apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, and problem-solving approaches to extract meaningful patterns and business insights. Present conclusions that enable data-driven business decisions.
• Human Resources Consulting : Collaborate with partners to observe the environment and apply sound judgment informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences. Identify and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions, balancing the needs of stakeholders, primarily employees, with those of the organization.
• Human Resources Business Process Execution : Manage the execution of HR business processes, seeking efficiency, accuracy, positive business performance outcomes, and operational agility. Integrate activities across processes as needed, ensure compliance with process and legal requirements, and balance process requirements with business leader needs5.
• Effective Communication : Develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Managing Complexity : Make sense of complex, high-quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
• Customer Focus : Build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions.

Qualifications

Education/Experience
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field highly preferred.
• Significant relevant work experience required in executing variety of people processes especially talent management, compliances and employee relations.
• Experience of managing large scale non-exempts and flexi workforce is a must.
• Should possess subject matter expertise in labor laws and related compliances and disciplinary actions.
• Should be able to prioritize effectively and support team handling multiple sites.
• Ability to travel 10% (domestic travel)
• The work arrangement for this position is onsite.
