Profile- Estimation Engineer
Location: Thane, Mumbai
Industry: Electrical Manufacturing (Lights & Panels)
Experience Required: 1+ Years
Ctc- upto 4.2 lpa (based on experience)
Male/ Female both
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, coordinating with clients, and understanding project requirements both remotely and on-site when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates and quotations for electrical products including lighting and panel solutions.
Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and provide timely quotation support
Analyse technical drawings, specifications, and client inputs for accurate estimation.
Maintain pricing databases, costing sheets, and quotation logs.
Coordinate with internal departments like design, production, and purchase for cost inputs.
Visit client sites occasionally to understand specific technical requirements.
Visit the factory when necessary to evaluate or clarify scope with the production team
Ensure timely submission of quotations and follow-ups.
Maintain strong communication with clients during the estimation process.
Candidate Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Experience: Minimum 1 year in Estimation/Quotation roles within the manufacturing industry, specifically electrical lightsor panels.
Strong understanding of electrical components and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in MS Excel, Email Communication, and Quotation Software (if any).
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel to client sites and factory units occasionally.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines and client-driventimelines.
Preferred Traits:
Energetic, confident, and solution-oriented.
Good at multitasking and client communication.
Self-motivated and able to take ownership of the estimationcycle.
