Remediclean is searching for a motivated, responsible employee to work in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. We need a self-starter who is solution oriented and can find solutions to challenges that arise. Someone who strives to excel and someone who is a life long learner. You need to have experience reading and analyzing drawings, spec documents and hazardous material reports in order to produce detailed and accurate estimates. This is a very important and critical role for our company.
The successful estimating candidate will:
Have worked in the abatement or remediation industry for at least 2 years.
Have strong estimating skills and be able to handle a high volume of active tenders.
Be meticulous and detailed oriented to produce accurate quotes.
Be responsible and accountable for their submitted tenders.
Be able to self-manage to accomplish many competing deliverables.
Possess strong communication skills.
Thrive in the business development arena.
Be a people person and able to connect with potential clients easily.
Be driven to win. Win new business and grow Remediclean in the Calgary region.
Business Development
Reaching out and meeting new potential clients every day.
Always looking for new project opportunities and representing Remediclean in our community.
Consistently communicating with existing clients and continuing to build on existing relationships.
Being an invaluable resource and an industry expert for our clients.
Estimating
Reading and analyzing tender drawings, specification documents and hazardous material reports.
Using software such as Planswift for accurate take offs.
Understanding spec documents and how they relate to tender drawings.
Comprehending hazardous material reports and applying relevant information as it relates to the scope of work laid out in tender packages.
Producing thorough and comprehensive estimates compliant with tender contractual obligations.
Remediclean is an established abatement company in Southern Alberta and we strive, every day, to lead the industry. We remove hazardous materials from commercial and light industrial buildings. Asbestos, mould, lead paint and biohazards are mainly what we encounter, but we will rise to any challenge. We have abatement techs and labourers on staff to handle multiple projects simultaneously and we scale up and down our crews, as needed.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
