SET MEDICS provides professional medical personnel for venues and events across California. We staff a wide range of environments including:
• Concerts & festivals
• Red carpet events & award shows
• Sporting events & MMA
• Street fairs & large public gatherings
• Private parties, clubs, and nightlife events
• Film & TV productions
We are known for providing reliable, experienced, and professional medical staff who can operate confidently in fast-paced, high-profile environments.
Position Overview
We are currently hiring California Certified EMTs and Licensed Paramedics for part-time, per-diem event and production shifts.
This is a flexible position where you pick up shifts based on your availability. However, we expect team members to maintain a minimum of 4 shifts per month, with preference given to those with greater availability.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT (READ CAREFULLY)
This position is intended for experienced field EMTs and paramedics only.
Minimum Requirements:
• At least 2 years of active, hands-on EMT or paramedic experience, including:
• Event medical with patient care responsibility
• Private ambulance (field work)
• 911 EMS response
• Fire department
This is NOT an entry-level position.
Applicants who are newly certified or without real-world patient care experience will not be considered.
Responsibilities
• Provide on-site medical care on location
• Perform patient assessments and basic interventions within scope of practice
• Make sound decisions independently in dynamic environments
• Maintain professional interaction with patients, clients, staff, and guests
• Complete required documentation accurately
Requirements
• Current California EMT Certification or Paramedic License
• Minimum 2 years field experience (required)
• Strong assessment and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional appearance and communication
• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to work day, night, and overnight shifts
Not a Fit If:
• You are newly certified or have little/no field experience
• Your experience is primarily classroom or clinical observation
• You are not comfortable working independently at events
Pay & Schedule
• Starting at $21.00/hour
• Overtime paid when applicable
• Flexible scheduling based on your availability
• Part-time
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued)
• Previous event medical or standby experience
• 911 or high-volume EMS experience
• Fire department or rescue background
• Experience working large crowds or high-liability environments
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
