Job Description
We are looking for talented individuals to join our team and help us lead innovation in the mainframe environment. In this position, you will collaborate within our Mainframe Modernization practice, contributing to our clients' journey of reinvention.
Your Role:
• Work alongside project teams to manage interdependencies, ensuring alignment in all deployment activities while monitoring and controlling the progress of the deployment plan.
• Create and deliver comprehensive reports on deployment planning progress to stakeholders.
• Foster an open and collaborative environment, encouraging effective communication among team members.
• Identify deployment risks and proactively devise strategies for mitigation.
• Develop tactics to improve deployment efficiency and effectiveness.
• Recognize cross-dependencies among workstreams and formulate deployment strategies accordingly.
• Analyze current batch schedules to identify optimal downtime for cutover windows.
• Oversee the execution of the End-to-End cutover plan and ensure timely tracking of progress.
• Facilitate cutover checkpoints and provide regular cutover status updates to stakeholders.
• Manage issue resolutions, interfacing with project leadership for escalations and critical decisions.
This role may require travel, with 25% to 100% of time dedicated to client needs.
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of experience as a project manager or delivery lead managing complex engagements, with a strong grasp of cloud migration, detailed planning, and risk management techniques.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mainframe optimization or modernization initiatives.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Deployment Countdown and large-scale Cutover Execution.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 12 years) required; Associate's degree candidates must have at least 6 years of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in data migration, file migration, and conducting pre-cutover dry runs is a plus.
Compensation for this role varies based on location, role, skills, and experience. Below is the annual salary range for select locations:
• California: $94,400 to $266,300
• Cleveland: $87,400 to $213,000
• Colorado: $94,400 to $230,000
• District of Columbia: $100,500 to $245,000
• Illinois: $87,400 to $230,000
• Maryland: $94,400 to $230,000
• Massachusetts: $94,400 to $245,000
• Minnesota: $94,400 to $230,000
• New York: $87,400 to $266,300
• New Jersey: $100,500 to $266,300
• Washington: $100,500 to $245,000
