Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• * Event Planning & Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end planning of corporate events, including setting objectives, budgeting, vendor management, and securing venues.
• * Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations to tailor each event to their specifications.
• * Team Management: Lead and manage a team of event coordinators and volunteers to ensure efficient event execution.
• * Vendor Negotiation: Manage relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of services and materials.
• * Logistics Management: Oversee event logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and onsite event setup.
• * Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and strategies for event outreach and attendance.
• * Budget Management: Create and manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and kept within budgetary constraints.
• * Post-event Evaluation: Conduct post-event reviews, analyzing successes and areas for improvement, and compiling feedback for future events.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• * Bachelors degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
• * At least 3 years of experience in corporate event management or a similar role.
• * Proven track record of organizing and executing successful corporate events, both large and small-scale.
• * Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, vendors, and team members.
• * Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• * Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience:
• * Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in corporate event planning or a related field.
• * Experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• * Proven success in managing logistics for large corporate events, conferences, and seminars.
• * Prior experience in leading a team and collaborating with senior management.
• Working Hours:
This is a full-time position. Regular office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Flexibility is required as events may take place in the evenings or weekends.
