Job Description
The Event Aide (or Event Assistant) supports event planners by handling on-site logistics, setup, and teardown for the expo. Key duties include arranging furniture, managing decor, coordinating AV equipment, and assisting attendees, ensuring smooth, behind-the-scenes operations.
Responsibilities:
-Event Setup: Assembling tables, chairs, decorations, and audio-visual equipment before an event, and dismantling them afterward.
- Logistics & Maintenance: Ensuring the booth remains clean, tidy, and fully stocked with materials (brochures, giveaways) throughout the event.
- Operational Assistance: Assisting event planners with running errands, managing vendor deliveries, and troubleshooting issues to maintain event flow.
- Technical Support: Operating TV screens, ensuring digital displays, laptops and interactive screens are functional.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
