Responsibilities
Work Schedule: General business hours Mon-Fri, some evenings related to specific certificate programs

From managing the registration system and ensuring accurate participant records to coordinating catering orders and setting up classrooms, you’ll oversee every detail of our events from start to finish
Whether it’s ensuring dietary needs are met, prepping materials, or working with instructors to bring their sessions to life, you’ll be the go-to person who makes it all happen seamlessly
You’ll handle parking logistics and match completion certificates to registrants, adding the perfect touch of professionalism and polish
You’ll be the calm in the storm, assuring all participants feel heard and supported
No problem—you’ll handle them with grace and professionalism while maintaining a “customer is always right” mindset
You’ll proof materials, double-check details, and ensure everything is 100% accurate before it goes out the door
Quick on your feet, you’ll find creative solutions on the fly to keep things running smoothly
And whether you’re behind the scenes or in front of customers, you’ll always present yourself as the consummate professional, setting a tone of excellence for everyone around you
Develops, coordinates and/or executes event planning
Coordinates events to facilitate effective presentation of programs or events
Performs public relations, sponsorship, hospitality, and/or project management for events
Coordinates all amenities, accommodations and/or production of materials and resources for events, as well as any associated contract negotiations
Maintains events calendar and/or records
May conduct post-event evaluations
Adheres to event budgets and/or maintains financial information
An event coordinator is needed to support the instructors for these trainings/workshops, which will allow CMD to expand upon this level of performance and impact
Coordination with catering, parking, reservations, printing and ordering classroom materials
