Job Description
You'll work closely with the CEO of UM Australia and the National Leadership Team, right in the centre of a fast-moving, high-performing business. This role is about more than organisation - it's about judgement, awareness, and keeping things moving before they need to be asked.
The pace is high and priorities shift. What matters is your ability to stay one step ahead, bring clarity to the day-to-day, and create the structure that allows others to do their best work.
We take what we do seriously, but not ourselves. It's a down-to-earth team that values high standards, strong relationships and a bit of humour along the way.
The Role
You'll partner with a CEO who is engaged, direct and moves quickly. She cares deeply about the work, sets high standards, and values people who bring judgement, initiative and honesty.
You'll be trusted, included, and given context -but you'll also be expected to use it. This is a role for someone who is comfortable being proactive, speaking up when needed, and helping make things better, smarter and more efficient every day.
What You'll Do
You'll keep the CEO organised and one step ahead - managing priorities, diary and inbox, and ensuring time is spent where it matters most.
You'll prepare for meetings properly - briefs, agendas and materials that make discussions clear and productive, not reactive.
You'll act as a connector across the CEO, Leadership Team and wider agency - helping keep priorities aligned and information flowing.
You'll get involved in projects, events and agency initiatives, stepping in where needed to maintain momentum and elevate how things are delivered.
You'll manage the day-to-day details - travel, logistics, expenses and communications - with a level of care and attention that makes everything feel seamless.
And importantly, you'll take ownership of the small things, because they're often the difference between good and great.
Who You Are
You're organised, but not rigid - able to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of what matters.
You're proactive and take ownership - you don't wait to be asked, and you follow things through.
You communicate clearly and confidently, and you're comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
You have strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and a high level of professionalism and discretion.
You're adaptable, calm under pressure, and comfortable working in an environment where things move quickly.
And you're someone people enjoy working with - approachable, positive, and a genuine team player who brings good energy to the day-to-day.
The Bottom Line
This is a role for someone who wants to be involved, add value, and build a genuine working partnership at the centre of a fast-moving business - while being part of a team that cares about doing great work and enjoying the ride along the way.
We value unique backgrounds and experiences to encourage and celebrate diversity. First Nations people, those identifying as LGBTQ+, people of all ages, people with disabilities, and people who are culturally and linguistically diverse are encouraged to apply. Our aim is to create a workforce that reflects the community in which we live.
