Job Overview

Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish served.

Manage inventory control, including procurement, stock rotation, and waste reduction to optimize food costs and minimize shortages.
Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations, maintaining a spotless kitchen environment at all times.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with precision to deliver memorable guest experiences.
Supervise and mentor culinary staff, fostering professional growth through training in food production techniques, hospitality standards, and teamwork skills.
Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining high levels of service quality.
Collaborate with restaurant management to align culinary initiatives with overall business goals and customer expectations.
Qualifications
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments and catering services.
Proven supervising experience in fast-paced kitchen settings with a focus on team management and leadership.
Demonstrated expertise in food production, menu planning, inventory management, and food safety practices.
Knowledge of dietary department standards and experience handling special dietary requests.
Strong understanding of kitchen management systems including inventory control, food handling procedures, and cost control measures.
Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals.
Prior experience with banquet operations, restaurant management, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
