About the Role
The successful candidate will:
Lead menu development and kitchen operations from pre-opening to launch, then into to day to day Chef operations
Work closely with ownership and management on sourcing, systems, hiring, and concept execution
Inspire and manage a team in a high-performance, quality-focused environment
Champion sustainability, creativity, and discipline in the kitchen

What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5 years’ experience as Sous Chef or Head Chef in high end and or high volume kitchens
Strong background in seafood, meat, and seasonal cuisine
Experience with charcoal, wood-fired, or open-flame cooking is a major asset
Proven leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills
Solid understanding of costing, inventory, scheduling, kitchen systems, and sourcing
Passion for culinary excellence and a deep respect for quality and sustainability

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering an exceptional dining experience in a brand new and exciting Spanish live-fire concept. The ideal candidate will possess extensive management and kitchen experience, with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and leadership. As the leader of our culinary operations, you will oversee all aspects of food service, ensure quality standards are met, and foster a collaborative and innovative kitchen environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to shape our menu, uphold hospitality excellence, and drive the success of our restaurant.
Duties
Lead and supervise the culinary team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Create and maintain relationships with suppliers and purveyors. Obtaining the highest of quality, and most sustainable products.
Oversee daily food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes.
Manage food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Develop menus that align with our concept while respecting traditional techniques.
Ensure adherence to food safety policies, sanitation standards, and proper storage practices.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless food service experiences for guests.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize operational efficiency.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with management on staffing schedules, hiring decisions, and operational improvements.
Represent the restaurant at industry events or community functions as needed.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting.
Restaurant management background with strong leadership skills.
Proficiency in food preparation, cooking, and overall kitchen experience within the food industry.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Demonstrated ability in team management, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and excellence.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and staff development.
Experience in menu development, cost control, and inventory management is preferred.
