Job Description

Join our where you'll work on data projects and drive data quality control implementations while being supported by a diverse team where unique perspectives, ideas and experiences are valued.

In your role as Executive your work will mainly relate to DQ management and reporting in the data operations (BAU) area.

You'll collaborate with the business finance teams, data producers and consumers across the business to understand, interpret and convey their data requirements and design tactical and strategic solutions to meet these needs.

Knowledge and experience in BI (power BI/Tableau) and SQL is must for this role as you'll help develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.

You'll partner with Data Consumers, Data Producers and Data Stewards to understand the usage of data in the organisation and establish metrics for ongoing monitoring and reporting.

You'll also assess impacts of any proposed changes to systems, products and processes belonging to any data 'Provider' or 'Consumer' or central data warehouse and methodically assist the group with any data quality challenges.

You'll also have the opportunity to represent and be the voice of the Financial Management Group in the organisation wide Data Working Groups and Forums and assist the Group Data office in meeting their strategic data deliverables.

To be successful in this role, you'll have an overall post-qualification experience of around 5 years, preferably in Data and Information Management roles as Data Business Analyst in the financial services industry.

If any of your previous roles have been focused on regulatory reporting, regulatory change or finance projects it will be highly regarded.

You'll possess the ability to quickly build strong relationships and influence outcomes and the ability to communicate technical information in simple business terms.
Exposure and understanding of data related regulatory requirements e.g. BCBS 23+ and APRA CPG 235 is highly regarded and intermediate knowledge and experience in Python.

It also beneficial if you bring strong Power Point, process, systems, and data mapping skills and a well-developed ability to define and document processes and capture process/system/data requirements end-to-end.
MS Visio skills is also an added advantage.
