Job Description
Letter of Credit Management: Overseeing the issuance and processing of letters of credit, including verifying the authenticity of documentation, compliance with regulatory requirements, and coordinating with relevant parties to facilitate smooth processing and settlement of letters of credit.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assessing the creditworthiness and risk associated with bank guarantee and letter of credit transactions, conducting due diligence on customers, and implementing risk mitigation measures such as collateral management, credit limits, and pricing.
Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with customers, counterparties, and other stakeholders involved in bank guarantee and letter of credit transactions, providing excellent customer service, and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise during the transaction process.
Compliance and Regulatory Reporting: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other financial instruments, and preparing required reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyzing financial data related to bank guarantee and letter of credit transactions, preparing financial reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and providing insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
Process Improvement: Continuously reviewing and improving processes related to bank guarantee and letter of credit transactions, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and risk management.
Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other teams within the organization, such as credit risk, trade finance, legal, and operations, to ensure smooth coordination and execution of bank guarantee and letter of credit transactions.
