Job Title: New Product Development Coordinator (Cosmetics & Perfumery)
Purpose of Job;
Creates, manages and lead the new product development for C&P division.
Ensure successive rollouts of new products, to achieve growth targets.
Collaborates cross-functionally to implement New product devt and drives Customer expectations.
Provides leadership and support for clients,sales, design, Manufacturing and implementation of new products.Initiate new products to meet customer needs;
Planning & monitoring new product development cycle from enquiry to customer acceptance of products;
Identify & work with manufacturing for Product & Process improvements.
Support Sales & marketing teams for introductory market programs to introduce new products.
Lead status meetings to drive programs or new product initiatives with clients, partners & cross functional team.
Periodically presents project updates to the leadership team.
Understanding of business operations and procedures.
Develop, maintain, and update new product development / Concept to Customer / process, to ensure a group of new concepts / products are available to be introduced and commercialized on an annual basis to include :
Ideation Capture
Funnel to Focus.
Stage Gate Management
Performance Evaluation.
Ensure key learnings and best practice are documented and shared institutionally.
Handle all customer specific new product development requests from C&P Industry.
Maintain ongoing communication with Marketing, Design, Tooling, Manufacturing and Engineering to insure a thorough understanding of emerging new customer expectations, new glass packaging concepts, Glass decoration, packaging, and manufacturing technology. Incorporate this learning into new product development process.
