Urgent Opening Executive Production Planning and Control (PPC). -Pawane
POSITION OVERVIEW: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Production Planning & control (PPC) with Printing background in Academics & Experience will be preferred.
DIRECT REPORTING TO: Head -PPC & Inventory Control
LOCATION: Navi Mumbai
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
- Making sure each operation meets shipping dates according to sales forecasts & customer orders
- Identifying scope for planning, implementing & monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity & making modifications in equipment, process flow, working practices, etc. for reducing cost per unit produced.
- Reporting of daily schedules, OTIF, pre-alert deviations if any. Ensure all parties are fully cognizant of production status, & that work planning and execution objectives are integrated & communicated.
- Handling various functions of Operations Management like identifying, developing and managing outsourcing strategy and road map to yield real benefits.Planning and scheduling work flow for department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Monitor, analyze & report performance to schedule of production & production support activities, utilizing information derived from material and production control systems.
- Coordinate the resolution of discrepancy reports, vendor service requests, etc. Initiates any replacement orders, resolves problems utilizing acquired knowledge & analytical abilities.
- Degree or Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical/Production/Printing Engineering with 2 to 4 yrs of Experience in Production planning and Scheduling.
- Good Communication skills & to act bridge between Sales / Customer Service, SCM & Operations. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, internally and externally
- Excellent command over Excel, Access. Added advantage for SAP exposure.
- Able to handle capacities, planning raw materials & with exposure to Outsourcing & planning in accordance to in house capabilities.
