Responsibilities
Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students at different skill levels.
Teach various dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, and other forms as required.
Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a productive learning environment.
Provide individualized instruction and support to students, including those with special education needs.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Organize performances and recitals to showcase student achievements.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
Maintain a safe and welcoming space for all students, promoting respect and teamwork.
Requirements
Proven experience in dance instruction with a strong foundation in ballet or other dance forms.
Background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management.
Experience working with children or adults in an educational setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students and parents alike.
Experience in related fields such as theater, culinary arts, photography, or sewing is a plus.
