We are looking for an Experienced Bridal & High Fashion Alteration Seamstress to join our team in Vancouver. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for wedding gowns and fine craftsmanship.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in bridal gown sewing and high fashion alterations
Strong knowledge of wedding dress construction
Skilled in working with lace, beading, boning, corsetry, bustles, hems, and trains
Comfortable working with delicate fabrics such as tulle, silk, satin, chiffon, and lace
Excellent attention to detail and finishing
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Pattern-making knowledge is an asset but not required
Responsibilities
Perform bridal and regular clothing alterations
Execute high-quality hand and machine sewing
Provide professional alteration recommendations
Maintain Clara Couture Bridal’s high standards of workmanship
