Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled full-time Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of diesel engine mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues.

Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic tests and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance on heavy equipment and vehicles.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery.
• Respond and provide roadside assistance when needed.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all repair activities.
Skills
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Experience in performing DOT/BIT Inspections on MD & HD Vehicles
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Certifications related to diesel mechanics are a plus.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license, CDL preferred
• Minimum of 6 years in Diesel Engine Maintenance
• Preventative Maintenance & Repair, Electrical System Repair, Brake Systems / Air Brakes, Computerized Diagnostics, PMI Inspection, & Tire Repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, sensors, and control modules
• DPF and DEF System Knowledge
• Welding, preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift heavy objects on average 50 Lb
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
WORK SHIFT:
• Monday - Thursday: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Friday - Overtime as needed
• Saturday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
