We are seeking an experienced groundworker to join our team.
We are a family run groundworks company mainly specialising in driveways/patios/paving. in particular, tarmac, resin bound, concrete and block paving.
This role is suited to an experienced operative who values: Structure, safety and steady work. Somebody who can be trusted to represent the business appropriately on site.
Reliability is key to this role, correct PPE and safety is crucial.
Random drug tests are common, so users need not apply as you would be immediately removed from site.
Key responsibilities would be:
- Carry out general groundworks tasks such as surfacing, prep work. excavator tickets are preferred but not essential
- Maintain a high standard of work. Keep site organised, safe and tidy
- Work productively within a small team where everybody has an important role to play
- The ability to work independently is preferred where necessary
It is necessary for any candidate who applies to have a valid UK drivers license.
It is key to represent the business professionally at all times.
We would be looking at starting someone on a trail period before employment is confirmed. CIS (self employed) status.
This would be a long term role for the right candidate. With opportunities to increase responsibility and earnings for the right person.
