Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our established team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing swimming lessons and ensuring the safety of all participants in the water. Teaching one 2 one lessons in a 30~C plus pool on a Monday night. 4pm start!
Plus cover hours are also available.
Duties:
- Educate students on proper swimming techniques and water safety skills
- Plan and conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups of varying ages and skill levels
- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to help them improve their swimming abilities
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment in the pool area
- Monitor swimmers to prevent accidents and respond effectively in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate records of swimmer progress and attendance
Qualifications:
- Level 2 Swimming Teacher with Experience
- Previous experience in swim instruction or sports coaching is preferred
- Lifeguard or life saving certification is a must
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Knowledge of swimming strokes, techniques, and safety protocols
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- CPR and First Aid certification required
