The school focuses on providing early childhood education that addresses all developmental needs of children in areas such as physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and linguistic development through play-based activities. Job Summary: We are seeking an empathetic, dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for nurturing and educating children in the 1.5-3.5 years age group, focusing on their cognitive, emotional, and social development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a deep passion for early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans in line with our experiential and play-based curriculum.
• Foster creativity, curiosity, and independent thinking in children through thematic activities and structured learning experiences.
Classroom Management:
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Guide children’s behavior positively, encouraging good manners, cooperation, and teamwork.
Child Development:
• Observe and assess children’s developmental progress, providing individualized attention and support as needed.
• Encourage the development of motor skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
Parent Interaction:
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and overall development.
• Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss milestones and areas of improvement.
Health and Safety:
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Administer basic first aid as necessary and follow all safety protocols.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with co-teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum planning and school events.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching in a preschool setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
