Job Description
Join our team as a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and offices. You will work on maintaining equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts, and assist with CNC and manual machines as necessary. This contract-to-hire position offers a competitive pay range.
Responsibilities
• Perform repairs around the facility, including lighting, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Assist with maintenance on equipment like forklifts and CNC/manual machines.
• Utilize mechanical or electrical experience to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Work within a shop environment, occasionally repairing various equipment.
Essential Skills
• Experience in mechanical or electrical repairs.
• Familiarity with shop environments and equipment maintenance.
• Competency in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Plumbing experience is a plus.
• Experience with carpentry and drywall work.

Work Environment
You will be working in a medium to large manufacturing facility that specializes in fabricating overhead cranes from scratch. The shop has around 75 employees and operates in a non-climate-controlled environment. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, is required. The day shift runs from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with overtime as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
