Job Description
The Factory Accountant is responsible for managing the financial aspects of a manufacturing facility. This includes cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting. The Factory Accountant ensures accurate and timely financial information for decision-making and compliance. Responsibilities:
• Oversee all accounting operations within the factory.
• Manage cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and cost control.
• Maintain and analyze inventory records, ensuring accuracy and proper valuation.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
• Conduct internal audits and implement necessary controls.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.
• Supervise and train accounting staff.
• Should have experience of Patty Cash.
