Description
• Production: Overseeing the entire manufacturing process, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control
• Staffing: Hiring, training, and supervising production employees, such as assemblers, packers, and equipment operators
• Safety: Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that the factory is in compliance with all relevant regulations
• Quality: Collaborating with quality control teams to ensure finished goods meet quality standards
• Budgeting: Creating an annual budget for factory operations to meet company production and performance targets
• Waste reduction: Minimizing input, packaging, and finished product waste
• Efficiency: Monitoring production metrics and making adjustments as needed to improve efficiency
• Equipment: Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order
• Reports: Preparing production reports and submitting them to key decision-makers
• Strategy: Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
