Job Description
Our client is an Australian industry leader in the manufacturing of screen media for the mining and mineral processing industries. They now have exciting opportunities available for manufacturing technicians/Factory workers to commence IMMEDIATELY. These position comes with an attractive four day work week as well as a three day work week on offer whilst being on-going (full-time hours) and view to permanency. We currently have the below vacancies available.
Shift Availability
Day Shift - Monday to Thursday: 4:30 AM - 2:30 PM (4 days on - 3 days off)
Day Shift - Monday to Thursday: 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM (4 days on - 3 days off)
Night Shift - Monday to Wednesday: 2:50 PM - 4:00 AM (3 days on - 4 days off) requires training on day shift for 3-4 weeks approx
Night Shift - Monday to Thursday: 3:15 PM - 1:15 AM (4 days on - 3 days off) requires training on day shift for 3-4 weeks approx
Duties
Preparing raw material and feed them into a mould heating oven
Setting mould, changing product & finishing of product
Machine Operating
General Labouring
Manual Handling
Safe handling of both raw material and finished product
Ensure the quality and consistency of the manufacturing process
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work space
Requirements
Experience in Manufacturing/Production environments.
Experience in Plastics and Rubber manufacturing is advantageous
Experience in operating Press Machines, Injection Moulders is advantageous
Comfortable working around industrial ovens/heat (+30°C)
Physically fit
Impeccable timekeeping Punctuality, reliability and attendance
