Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Conduct physical exams, obtain patient histories, and develop treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory disorders
• Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays
• Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including family planning services
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner certification
• Current registration with the Nursing regulatory body in Canada
• At least 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients with diverse needs
