Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Design support: Assist in creating and developing design concepts, and collaborate with the design team to generate innovative ideas 2. Market research: Conduct market research to stay updated on current fashion trends, and analyze competitor products and offerings 3. Material and product development: Support in sourcing materials and fabrics for design projects and assist in the development and prototyping of new products. 4. Documentation: Maintain organized records of design concepts, sketches, and material samples and prepare design presentation materials for internal and external use 5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as production, marketing, and sales, and support in coordinating activities related to product launches and promotions 6. Learning & development: Actively participate in design meetings and workshops and stay informed about industry developments and design software tools 7. Adaptability: Be adaptable to evolving project requirements and assist in various tasks as required to support the design and merchandising team 8. Communication: Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts and collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive project execution.
