Job Title: Fashion Design Assistant
Description:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to support our product development process. As a Footwear Design Intern, you will work closely with our founder to conceptualize, sketch, and refine upcoming sneaker and leather shoe designs.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing new footwear concepts across categories like sneakers and leather shoes
• Create sketches, mood boards, and material/color direction
• Prepare and update tech packs for sampling and production
• Conduct trend, material, and construction research
• Collaborate with the founder and external partners to iterate on designs and prototypes
• Maintain organized design files and references
Qualifications:
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Footwear Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop (experience with tools like CLO, Rhino, or Blender is a plus)
• Strong sketching and visualization skills—both hand and digital
• Interest or knowledge in footwear materials and construction methods
• Passion for sneakers, streetwear, and lifestyle design
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely
• A portfolio showcasing your design process, sketches, and final outcomes
