• Assessment:
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and exams, and maintain accurate records of their progress.
• Industry Engagement:
• Stay current with fashion industry trends by attending workshops and events, and maintain a network with industry professionals to enrich students' learning experiences.
• Research and Scholarship:
• Conduct and publish research in the field of fashion design to contribute to the academic community.
• Collaboration:
• Work with colleagues on curriculum development, academic projects, and faculty committees.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Manage classroom and studio sessions, coordinate with departments, and potentially support admissions and placement activities.
• Typical Qualifications
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Design or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in fashion design.
• Experience in education or teaching.
