Fashion Design Intern (Hybrid)Location:


India (Hybrid – Remote + On-site as required)

6 Months Internship (with opportunity for full-time employment)



About KOSU Hemp:


KOSU Hemp is a sustainable fashion label dedicated to designing modern, eco-conscious apparel using hemp and natural fibers. We focus on clean silhouettes, minimal waste, and conscious craftsmanship.



Role Overview:


We are looking for a Fashion Design Intern who is creative, motivated, and passionate about sustainability. This is a hybrid role, allowing for remote work while also involving in-person collaboration at our Hyderabad studio when needed.



Key Responsibilities:


Assist in concept development, trend research, and collection planning
Create digital sketches, flats, and illustrations using design software
Develop and maintain tech packs and specification sheets
Support the sampling process and attend fittings (on-site when required)
Collaborate with the design, production, and branding teams
Source sustainable fabrics, trims, and components (with guidance)
Participate in brainstorming and creative discussions for campaigns and storytelling


Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing final year) in Fashion Design or related field
0–1 year of experience (freshers welcome with strong portfolios)
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW / Photoshop
Basic knowledge of garment construction and textiles
Excellent communication skills and time management
Passion for sustainability, ethical fashion, and mindful design
Willingness to travel to the studio in Hyderabad as required
