Key Responsibilities
• Research and analyze current fashion trends, color palettes, and fabrics to create innovative designs.
• Develop fashion collections that align with market demands and incorporate digital printing techniques.
• Collaborate with the textile and printing teams to ensure seamless execution of designs on fabrics.
• Create mood boards, sketches, CAD designs, and prototypes for approval.
• Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and production teams to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure designs are both aesthetically appealing and commercially viable.
• Stay updated on emerging textile printing technologies and sustainable fashion trends.
• Participate in fashion exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to understand industry demands.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of current fashion trends, trading, and consumer behavior.
• Experience or keen interest in digital textile printing and fabric manipulation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and CAD software.
• Excellent sketching, visualization, and creativity skills.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, materials, and printing techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in the digital fashion printing industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly textile printing techniques.
• Familiarity with production processes and supply chain management in the fashion industry.
