The Fashion Design Intern will work closely with our founder on new collections and gain hands-on experience in the entire design and production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate directly with the founder to conceptualize, sketch, and develop new womenswear collections.
- Assist in fabric sourcing, trims selection, and material research.
- Create detailed tech packs and spec sheets for manufacturers.
- Work closely with manufacturers to oversee production, ensure quality control, and manage sizing details.
- Participate in fittings, photoshoots, and campaign planning.
- Provide creative input on branding, trends, and collection themes.
- Learn and contribute to the end-to-end design process, from ideation to final execution.
Requirements:
- Student or recent graduate in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Strong sketching skills and a keen eye for aesthetics, colour, and trends.
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and pattern-making.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or any fashion design software is a plus.
- A proactive, hands-on attitude with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A love for fashion and a desire to grow within a small, dynamic team.
