Job description
Hi, we are looking for an assistant fashion designer who can add value to the fashion start-up. eZraki Studio is a brand working on the lines of slow fashion with the philosophy of imbibing modern western clothing and focussing on resort, cocktail and everyday wear. The role is designed to handle the brand and grow along with it.
As an asst. Fashion Designer, you will be the lead designer of eZraki Studio and represent the brand globally and be responsible in working it to larger avenues.
eZraki Studio houses two wings. eZraki Signature which deals in our couture designs and eZraki Luxe which hosts special high value designer brands.
Responsibilities
The role would entail the following functions:
Designs: Working on creating multiple works throughout the brand journey.
Production: Dealing with the karigars and the team to ensure smooth outputs. Co-ordinating & inventory management of stock, managing orders & fabric sourcing
Digital: Social media, website & advertising
. Marketing & Biz: Working on the company's branding & selling strategies across the country and overseas & generating multiple revenue channels.

Overview
A Fashion Designer plays a pivotal role in creating and designing clothing, footwear, and accessories, setting the trends for the upcoming seasons. They contribute to the overall success of a brand by conceptualizing and developing products that meet the brand's aesthetic and market needs.
Key responsibilities
• Create and visualize fashion concepts through sketches, drawings, and mood boards
• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and color palettes to develop new designs
• Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal themes and concepts
• Create patterns and oversee the production of samples
• Coordinate with manufacturers or tailors to ensure quality production
• Participate in fabric and material sourcing
• Stay informed about market competition and strategies
• Presentation of design ideas and concepts to the management and clients
• Ensure the timely completion of collections and adherence to design specifications
• Conduct fittings and oversee the final production process
• Develop technical packs and specifications for production
• Stay updated on advancements in design software and technology
• Participate in fashion shows and events
• Contribute to the overall creative direction and brand aesthetic
• Manage design calendars and meet deadlines
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Demonstrated experience in fashion design, including internships or prior employment
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of textiles, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to create and interpret technical sketches and drawings
• Knowledge of trends, color schemes, and garment detailing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proven ability to think creatively and innovatively
• Capability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design ability and aesthetic
• Knowledge of pattern making and draping
• Experience in conceptualizing and developing fashion products
• Understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and brand identity
