Role Description
We are looking for a talented and innovative Fashion Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fashion, have a keen understanding of trends, and bring a unique vision to our growing brand. You will play a key role in shaping our collections, from concept to completion, ensuring our designs resonate with our customers and elevate our brand’s aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Creativity & Design Skills: Develop innovative design concepts that align with the brand's aesthetics, producing visually appealing and marketable collections.
• Fabric Knowledge & Selection: Select appropriate fabrics based on the design's requirements, understanding their textures, wearability, and comfort.
• Sketching & Technical Drawing: Create detailed sketches and technical drawings with precise measurements, seam allowances, and stitching instructions for production.
• Understanding of Production Process: Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs can be realistically and efficiently manufactured.
• Customer Preferences & Customization: Incorporate customer feedback and preferences into designs, offering options for customization when needed.
• Time Management for Collections: Plan and manage the design process to meet collection launch deadlines, coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Fashion Trends & Market Awareness: Stay current with fashion industry trends and market dynamics to create collections that are both trendy and unique.
• Pattern Making & Draping: Oversee or assist with pattern making and draping to ensure correct fit, silhouette, and comfort in each design.
• Provide Detailed Instructions: Offer comprehensive guidance to the production team, including measurements, fabric details, stitching techniques, and construction elements.
