The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing trend-driven collections while managing the entire product lifecycle—from concept development, fabric sourcing, and production coordination to quality checks and market launch. This role demands a blend of creativity, market understanding, and operational skills to ensure our ethnic wear line is both stylish and commercially successful.

• Develop embroidery layouts, print patterns, and embellishment designs.
• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories to suit designs.
• Work closely with pattern masters and tailors to develop prototypes and samples.
• Ensure designs are aligned with brand aesthetics and target audience preferences.
Merchandising & Production
• Plan and manage the product range based on seasonal demand and brand strategy.
• Source fabrics, trims, and materials from vendors at competitive prices.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely sample and bulk order execution.
• Conduct quality checks at all stages of production to maintain product standards.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock replenishment for bestsellers.
Market & Sales Support
• Work with marketing teams for photoshoots, lookbooks, and promotional content.
• Provide sales teams with product knowledge, styling tips, and fabric details.
• Assist in pricing decisions based on cost analysis and market positioning.
Vendor & Buyer Coordination
• Maintain strong relationships with fabric suppliers, embroidery units, and printing houses.
• Liaise with buyers, boutiques, and e-commerce platforms for order placements and custom requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design, or Merchandising.
• 2–5 years of experience in women’s ethnic wear design & merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, embroidery, and Indian ethnic wear trends.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop) preferred.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
• Strong eye for detail, creativity, and commercial awareness.
Benefits:
• Competitive salary with incentives.
• Opportunity to work with an innovative and growing ethnic wear brand.
