About the job:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and development: Create original and innovative designs for jewelry and fashion accessories, including but not limited to rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, handbags, scarves, belts, and sunglasses.
2. Trend research: Stay up-to-date with current fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to develop designs that align with our brand vision.
3. Sketching and CAD: Produce detailed sketches, technical drawings, and CAD designs to communicate design concepts effectively.
4. Material selection: Collaborate with the sourcing team to select appropriate materials, stones, and finishes for designs, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and product quality.
5. Prototype development: Work closely with the production team to develop prototypes, ensuring that the final products meet design specifications and quality standards.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and sales, to ensure designs meet market needs and are commercially viable.
7. Quality assurance: Review samples and prototypes, providing feedback and making necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality standards.
8. Collection planning: Assist in planning and developing seasonal collections, from concept to final production, ensuring a cohesive and on-brand product line.
