Fashion Designer- Intern

Job Title: Fashion Designer / merchandiser Intern : Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Employment Type: Internship (Duration: 3-6 months , with potential for extension) Reports To: Senior Fashion Designer/ senior merchandiser Job Description : As a Fashion Designer Intern, you will work closely with our design team to help bring creative concepts to life. This internship offers hands-on experience in the entire design process—from initial research and concept development to sketching, tech pack creation, and sample co-ordination. You will gain invaluable insight into industry practices while contributing fresh ideas to our design process. Key Responsibilities • Concept Development: Assist in researching fashion trends and developing mood boards to inspire new collections. • Design & Illustration: Create sketches, digital illustrations, and technical drawings using software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. • Tech Pack Assistance: Help develop detailed tech packs, including specifications for fabric, color, and construction. • Market Research: Stay updated on emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes. • Team Support: Participate in brainstorming sessions, design meetings, and assist with administrative tasks as needed. Required Qualifications : • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. • Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail. • Basic proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop). • Familiarity with fashion trends, fabrics, and garment construction. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • A portfolio that showcases your design work and creative projects is highly recommended.
