We are seeking a creative and passionate Fashion Designer with expertise in sarees to become a valuable part of our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of traditional Indian textiles, embroidery techniques, draping styles, and contemporary fashion trends. Your primary responsibility will involve envisioning and crafting distinctive saree collections that cater to both conventional and modern preferences.
As a Fashion Designer specializing in sarees, you will:
- Develop original saree collections that encompass concepts, patterns, and motifs in line with the brand's identity and market requirements.
- Conduct in-depth market research to grasp customer preferences and stay updated on emerging trends.
- Choose suitable fabrics, colors, embroidery styles, and embellishments for each design.
- Collaborate effectively with artisans, tailors, and production teams during the sampling and production phases.
- Utilize tools like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW to create mood boards, sketches, and digital illustrations.
- Ensure the quality, fit, and finish of designs through consistent sampling and fittings.
- Introduce innovations within traditional saree formats, such as pre-stitched sarees, fusion styles, or designs incorporating multiple materials.
- Keep abreast of seasonal fashion trends, especially in ethnic and festive attire.
- Coordinate with the marketing department for styling photo shoots and promotional campaigns.
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience as a Fashion Designer. The work location is in person.,
