We’re Hiring: Fashion Designer at Dhãran
Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of pattern making, draping, and fashion illustration, and be able to uphold the brand’s aesthetic while contributing to its growth in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
o Design collections, aligning with the brand’s vision.
o Create vision boards incorporating fashion forecasts, colours, and trends for upcoming collections.
o Oversee the sampling process from concept to final product, ensuring top-quality results.
o Develop tech packs with detailed specifications.
o Maintain accurate design documentation, such as production notes and tech packs.
o Assist in photoshoots and create lookbooks/catalogues.
o Develop styling concepts and conduct market trend analysis.
o Archive and present collections effectively.
Skills & Qualifications:
o Education: Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a reputed institute.
o Strong knowledge of pattern making, styling, and fashion illustration.
o Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and MS Excel.
o Excellent creativity and artistic ability, with a strong understanding of textiles, fabrics, and garment construction.
o Effective communication skills for collaboration with artisans and production teams.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and passionate Textile Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of textile surfaces, print design, woven textiles, and color theory. This role involves blending India’s rich textile heritage with contemporary styles to create innovative and sustainable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
o Develop mood boards for upcoming collections based on themes and inspirations.
o Design a range of textile prints suited for various products in line with collection themes.
o Work on colourways, print variations, and multimedia techniques for designs.
o Conduct research on textile trends, craft techniques, and sustainable practices to inform design direction.
o Collaborate with merchandisers to ensure designs align with market trends and customer preferences.
Skills & Qualifications:
o Education: Degree/Diploma in Textile Design, Textile Technology, or a related field.
o Proficiency in sketching, drawing, and painting.
o Strong knowledge of craft-based techniques such as block printing, natural dyes, hand embroidery, and weaving.
o Understanding of materials, fabrics, and textile construction.
o Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Suite, and familiarity with MS Excel.
o Excellent artistic skills and attention to detail.
o Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with artisans and production teams.
