Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Assisting with taking inventory
Managing files and data entry related to inventory
Assisting with replenishment of key items and voicing inventory concerns
Merchandising & Visuals:
Assisting with product displays and ensuring proper presentation
Learning about product placement and store layouts
Assisting with creating visual merchandising plans
Trend Research:
Assisting with researching current and emerging trends
Supporting designers and buyers with trend analysis
Sales Support:
Assist with sales floor support, answering customer questions
Administrative Support:
Managing email correspondence
Preparing reports for the buyer
Organizing and managing samples, products, and materials
Other:
Participating in team meetings and presentations
Learning about the buying process and seasonal planning
Working closely with buyers and designers
Assisting with other merchandising tasks as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Passion for fashion and retail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
