4. Techniques & Software:
o Use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW) to create digital patterns.
o Experiment with various printing techniques (screen printing, digital printing, hand-painted, embroidery) to achieve desired effects.
o Prepare design files and colorways for production, ensuring compatibility with textile printing methods.
5. Fabric and Material Selection:
o Understand the properties of different fabrics and how they interact with various print techniques.
o Select appropriate materials for the intended design, ensuring the print's durability, texture, and look.
6. Quality Control:
o Ensure the final print design matches the desired aesthetic and technical requirements, including color accuracy and scale.
o Work with the production team to oversee the print’s application to fabrics, ensuring consistency and high standards are met.
7. Presentation & Communication:
o Present print concepts, mood boards, and final designs to stakeholders, including designers, clients, and management.
o Prepare design mock-ups and samples for approval before final production.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Technical Skills:
o Expertise in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
o Knowledge of fabric types and printing techniques.
o Strong attention to detail, especially in scale, color, and alignment.
2. Creative Vision:
o Ability to conceptualize innovative and visually appealing prints.
o Strong understanding of the brand’s aesthetic and ability to translate it into print designs.
