Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic alignment with the business vision for apparel
- Support in strategizing the new design initiatives for Menswear categories and work towards successful launch.
- Define unique Design stories for the new collections for the menswear category.
- Should lead creative product building along with season’s Print and Graphic artwork developments.
- Should drive sketching of linesheet for seasonal collection of Running/Training/Yoga/Athleisure for Menswear point of view. delivering the collection story POV through Core/Core+/Fashion design developments.
- Bringing in an Innovative approach to design through newer ideas/problem solving through designing/consumer lead ideas.
- Maintain cost to design the products for the category by coming up with ways to utilize the raw materials in the most effective manner keeping minimums of the color and material in mind.
- Present aesthetically appealing collection swatches/developed trims/mocks/strike offs/selections to the team during line review.-Should be able to articulate every detail/technical aspect involved in the design for execution of a product to the sourcing team along with presenting complete BOM, fabric details, measurements, tech sheet of every product.
- Should be able to conduct the fit articulation of a product through market bought samples/development of the fit with execution in the right material and weight.
- Maintain and update creative materials such as sketches, Illustrator drawings, specifications, material overviews, color directions, and boards, while meeting all deadlines.
- Act as the design spokesperson for your assigned design areas, representing them at internal and external meetings to present new designs, concepts, and creative direction. Work closely with fit tech, sourcing, merchandisers for a regular follow up.
- Adhere to the Design Calendar for the year for the category.
Eligibility Criteria and Functional Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in design, Fashion, and/or a relevant field of study, preferably Knitwear design. Passionate about sport and sportswear design.
- Expertise in Menswear categories and lead creative direction for print and graphics Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in the fashion, sportswear, or teamsport space, specializing in Apparel.
- Experience directly leading a small design team is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency and refinement in all stages of presentation, from concept to final design review. Broad knowledge of apparel manufacturing and prototype making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of fabrics, with knowledge of graphics being ideal.
- Strong MAC, CAD, and analytical skills, with 3D knowledge being an advantage.
- Ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group.
- Leadership capabilities, including the ability to motivate and mentor others within the workgroup.
- Technical and aesthetic understanding, as well as knowledge and experience with functional-based products and trend-relevant detailing.
- Tremendous attention to detail and extraordinary time-management skills.
- Team player with the ability to adapt to change quickly and with minimum supervision.

Primary Responsibilities :
• Create fashion ideas that live across a range of areas - print, digital, video, e-commerce, events
• Responsible for the fashion execution for editorial and special projects, requesting of rtw and accessories, coordination of shoot logistics
• Work closely with stylists and editors on their needs, inclusion of brands and designers suggestions
• Discovery of new design talent and knowledge of latest initiatives from brands and designers
• Collaborating within the Global Fashion Network on editorial and special projects as needed.
• Support brand initiatives
• Manage the team’s work flow and needs
• Attend press appointments and manage strong relationships with PR firms and senior leadership at brands
• Monthly tracking of editorial coverage of brands and proactively managing issues and business needs.
Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree with 6 + years of relevant experience.
