Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) has an important role to play, supporting the Group to achieve its purpose to improve the financial wellbeing of our customers and communities. FCC partners with Business Units, Support Units and Financial Crime Services (FCS) to disrupt financial crime, ensuring compliance and effective risk management. Our team is based in Sydney.
The Senior Training & Development Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic vision and leading the tactical execution of evidence-based learning programs to enhance business performance.
Overseeing a team of training professionals, this appointment will ensure that all aspects of the training lifecycle from analysis, design, and delivery to assessment and evaluation of training initiatives align with organisational objectives.
Reporting to the FCC COO, this position will be responsible for delivering measurable results while demonstrating the tactical actions taken to execute the strategy effectively.
Do work that matters
The FCC Chief Operating Office is responsible for Capability and Learning (including the Griffith University partnership), the bu siness performance and finance s of the FCC team, People, Culture and Wellbeing , Communications and Pace.
On any given day, you will;
Drive the tactical execution of the training strategy, ensuring initiatives are efficiently implemented and aligned with business goals.
Work closely with key FC SMEs and stakeholders to develop high quality financial crime learning content on a variety of topics and risks
Collaborate with stakeholders to align training programs with business objectives and ensure learning initiatives drive meaningful value.
Lead and manage a team responsible for the end-to end training lifecycle, from training needs analysis to post-training evaluation.
Implement evidence-based learning methodologies to improve workforce performance and business results.
Regularly report on training outcomes and key actions taken, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic priorities.
Foster innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring learning and development remains future-focused and business relevant.
As lead facilitator, you will lead FC Learning workshops alongside an FC SME
You will work with the FCC COO in the development of detailed planning schedules for the creation and delivery of learning
