Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Teacher to join our Pre-School team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Lead Teacher in the classroom, helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the Lead Teacher in the classroom, providing support to students and helping to create a positive learning environment.
• Assist with the planning and implementation of activities and lessons.
• Help to maintain a safe and secure environment for students.
• Assist with the supervision of students during lunch and recess.
• Assist with the preparation of materials and supplies for activities.
• Assist with the assessment and evaluation of student progress.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of child development and learning principles.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
