Job Description
The Fencing Worker is responsible for installing, and maintaining a variety of fences including wooden, This role involves physical labor, outdoor work, and use of power tools and machinery to ensure secure and quality installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and mark fence layout according to job specifications or site plans
Dig post holes manually or using power augers
Install fence posts, rails, panels, gates, and accessories
Cut and assemble fencing materials as needed
Secure fencing using appropriate fasteners and supports
Mix and pour concrete for setting posts
Inspect and repair damaged fences
Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner
Follow safety protocols and site procedures
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in fencing, construction, or general labor preferred
Skilled in using hand and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, levels)
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions
Good attention to detail and measurements
Strong work ethic, punctual, and dependable
Valid driver’s license may be required for site travel
Work Conditions:
Outdoor work in all weather conditions
Physically demanding tasks such as lifting, digging, and bending
May require travel to different job sites
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
