Overview:
Location: All Locations in the United States
Work Arrangement: Remote, In-office or Hybrid
Responsibilities:
A Day in the Life
A typical day as a Finance Accountant might include the following:
Reviews and verifies general ledger transactions to ensure proper classification and coding.
Creates and posts journal entries, including recurring entries, intercompany entries, or adjusting entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
Assists with month-end and year-end closing processes within established timeframes.
Performs general ledger reconciliations and bank account reconciliations and resolves any discrepancies.
Prepares financial statements and other supplemental financial reporting on a monthly or as needed basis.
Performs financial statement analysis and provides relevant explanations for variances.
Organizes schedules, updates data for individual reporting units, and summarizes results in support of the Firm's annual budget process.
Executes timely and accurate recognition of capital expenditures and depreciation expense.
Compiles necessary information for regulatory or other external audits.
Collects financial information for benchmarking surveys or other business needs.
Supports individual office operations by providing analysis and backing of financial data as needed.
Completes other duties as assigned to support the Finance Department.
Creates and maintains documentation of procedures and recommends changes for greater efficiencies.
Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.
Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines.
Qualifications:
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2-5 years of accounting experience required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
You have a well-rounded knowledge of accounting principles.
You can compile and analyze complex data.
You possess a high level of commitment to detail and data integrity.
You can communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
You can work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
You can establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients.
You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and using various software packages.
Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Compensation
$60,000-$75,000
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
