AGM (Finance & Accounts) - BPO/ITES
• Lead the finance function including the financial accounting, payroll, financial planning & reporting.
• Second in command in F&A
• Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Responsible for developing financial plans, budgeting, forecasting, Variance Analysis Risk management and strategic planning.
• Leading, directing and managing a team on closing and reporting monthly, quarterly and annual for all India related entities as per local and US GAAP and IFRS and accounting policies/practices
• Analyzing impact of changes in accounting, tax, compliance laws and working with the BU to determine the impact of the same on the business (for e.g. Direct/Indirect Tax and Labour Laws etc).
• Collecting and analyzing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates
• Understanding of the commercial aspect.
• Managing and developing the overall finance team and finance managers.
• Work with accounts managers to deliver accurate financial accounts & data as well as to ensure compliance with statutory reporting and tax requirements.
• Creating KPI reports
• Assisting with the preparation of yearend accounts and statutory accounts
• Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
• Conducting internal audits such as wage reviews
• Examining financial records to check for accuracy
Qualification And Experience:
• CA with 12-15 years' experience in BPO/ITES or Service Industry Only.
• Must have handled a team.
• Strong leadership and people management skills - must be a respected player amongst peers, partners and external parties.
• Proven ability to effectively manage a diverse global organisation and drive as a team, create standards, set clear objectives and demonstrate empowerment.
• Excellent communication, sophisticated, articulate, business acumen
• Setting up systems, keen eye for details, technical thinking and desire to probe further into data
Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints
