As a Finance and Accounts Officer at our company in Kozhikode, you will play a crucial role in managing various financial functions during an exciting phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project invoicing, ensuring accurate billing as per contract terms and timely submission to clients.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, expense booking, and maintaining financial accuracy.
- Handle bank transactions, payments, receipts, and ensure effective cash flow management for contracting operations.
- Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on debtor collections, and maintain updated ageing reports to improve working capital.
- Prepare and review bank, vendor, and customer reconciliation statements on a regular basis.
- Generate MIS reports (revenue, expense, project profitability, cash flow) to support strategic decision-making by management.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable financial regulations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial discipline across projects.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
- Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance practices within the contracting division.
Qualifications Required:
- CA / ICWAI Inter (Freshers can also apply), MBA / M.Com with 4 years of experience.
