Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

CTC Range: ₹15,00,000 – ₹25,00,000 LPA

Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer

The Deputy CFO will work closely with the CFO and leadership team to drive financial.

Candidate Profile
• Strong knowledge of Accounts with hands-on experience in finalization of accounts
• Prior experience leading and managing finance teams
• Experience in mid-level corporates in:
• Manufacturing (including MSME)
• Large trading enterprises (Metals, Consumer Durables, Building Materials)
• Strong interest in Financial Accounting, Banking, and Management Data Analysis
• Aspires to grow long-term with the organization

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
• Support the CFO in developing and executing financial strategy aligned with business objectives
• Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership for expansion and investment decisions
• Evaluate new business opportunities, capex proposals, and profitability analysis

2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, tax, and corporate governance requirements
• Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal financial controls

3. Budgeting & Cost Control
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and drive corrective measures
• Identify cost optimization and margin improvement opportunities
• Implement robust MIS and reporting systems for management review

4. Treasury & Working Capital Management
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning
• Optimize fund utilization and banking relationships
• Oversee credit control, receivables management, and inventory financing strategies

5. Risk Management & Internal Controls
• Strengthen financial governance and risk management frameworks
• Ensure effective internal control systems across all business verticals
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies

6. Team Leadership & Process Improvement
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team
• Drive automation, digitization, and ERP optimization initiatives
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and performance excellence

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (Controller / Finance Head / Senior Finance Manager / Deputy CFO)
• Experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, or building materials industry preferred
• Experience handling multi-location operations is highly desirable

Educational Qualification
• CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) – Mandatory
• Additional certifications in finance, taxation, or corporate governance are an advantage

Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and corporate finance
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial analysis
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel
• Strong understanding of banking operations and treasury management
