About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for responsible to take lead in various projects in the Company and provide various accounting solutions in line with the applicable accounting standards and processes in the industry.
You will also participate in the monthly and yearly closing of books and communicate with various stakeholders. You will also be responsible to review and reply to direct tax notices.
Financial Systems & Reporting
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and yearly cut
• Initiate and carry out general ledger account analysis
• Communicate with external audit authority
• Participate in reporting to mother company according to IFRS
Project Management
• Responsible for providing accounting guidance in the ongoing projects
• Responsible for testing and implementation in the ongoing projects with relation to accounting
• Analysing impact of various accounting changes on business
• Preparing and conducting presentations for educating business users regarding accounting and direct tax related changes
Direct Taxes
• Responsible for reviewing notices received from tax authorities
• Collating and preparing information required to be submitted to tax authorities
• Liaising with external consultants and assisting in preparing replies to notices
• Ensuring submission of replies in a timely manner

Qualifications:
We are looking for you with:
• High analytical ability
• Excellent collaborator who is openminded, straightforward and cultivates a strong feedback culture
• Clear and inspiring communication verbal and written with an eye for details
• Experienced in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel
• Chartered Accountant with minimum of 45 years relevant experience is required
• Relevant experience from previous accounting roles
• Experience in providing accounting guidance
• Experience in replying to direct tax authorities for notices
• A positive, supportive attitude and the will to learn and constantly improve
• High contribution performing consistently well on WHAT and HOW in your current role
